How Givr works
01
Download the admin app, connect Stripe Connect (free, ~5 mins), create your giving funds. Your QR code and giving link are live immediately.
02
Displayed on-screen or printed in the bulletin. Browser opens the giving page. No app download for the giver. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay all supported.
03
Declarations captured at the point of giving and stored for future gifts. Givr aggregates and submits quarterly claims to HMRC on your behalf as a registered nominee.
The moat
Every eligible £1 becomes £1.25. Most UK churches only claim a fraction of what they're owed — the paperwork is the reason. Givr fixes that.
Example — 100-giver church
Net to the church
£20,084 reclaimed
After Givr subscription and performance fee. Illustrative — your numbers depend on donor eligibility.
Everything you need
One QR per church. Congregation scans, browser opens, gives in 15 seconds. Prints cleanly into any bulletin.
Tithe, Building Fund, Missions, Youth. Congregation picks where their gift goes at the point of giving.
Full card, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Church onboards to their own Stripe account — you own your money, not Givr.
Standing orders via UK Direct Debit — the cheapest way to receive regular giving. Available on Gather tier.
Names, addresses, Gift Aid declaration status, annual giving statements — exportable for your accountant.
Optional integration with Ekklesia church management. Giving syncs automatically to member records.
GBP, EUR (Ireland Charitable Donation Scheme), USD (501(c)(3) receipts). One platform, global congregation.
Free tier limits stored in iCloud KV — no reinstall exploit. Fair to churches that are still growing.
See gifts land in real time. Perfect for treasurer team huddles after service.

Multi-faith
~2,000 UK mosques are completely unserved by any modern giving platform. Givr Grow includes a Zakat calculation tool and multi-faith-neutral terminology option, alongside full support for Gift Aid on eligible donations.

Church management. Every new Ekklesia church gets a Givr account auto-provisioned; giving syncs to member profiles; QR embeds in bulletin PDFs.
Event pools for weddings, fundraisers, and church programmes. Event pages include a Givr giving link so guests can donate to the host church.
Last-minute deal marketplace. Charity events surface a Givr giving link and a post-event donation prompt for the cause.
International
Givr is UK-first because that's where the biggest unclaimed tax opportunity sits. But the platform is multi-country from day one — currency-aware, region-aware, and safe for churches operating anywhere Stripe operates.
HMRC Gift Aid
Full automated submission, GASDS on cash/contactless, higher-rate SA100 relief statements.
Charitable Donation Scheme
Enduring Certificates, CHY number capture, Revenue Commissioners reclaim workflow.
IRS 501(c)(3)
EIN capture, per-donation and annual tax-deductible receipts for donor records.
Multi-currency Stripe
GBP, EUR, USD (and Stripe supports 135+ currencies). No local tax program, just clean giving.

FAQ
No. Stripe Payments UK Ltd (FCA authorised) processes card payments; GoCardless (FCA authorised) handles Direct Debit; MRVL is HMRC-registered as the Gift Aid nominee. You are the church that receives the funds — regulation sits with the payment rails, not you.
No. That's the whole point. Donors scan a QR code or tap a link, the browser opens, they give in 15 seconds. The Givr iOS app is only for church admins.
No. Stripe Connect Express means the church owns the Stripe account and its funds. If you leave Givr you keep your Stripe account and can migrate away.
Free covers up to £5,000/month processed with a 1% platform fee that covers Stripe costs. HMRC Gift Aid submission is on the Gather plan (£25/month) — that's the tier the £560m unclaimed sits behind.
HMRC typically settles claims 4–6 weeks after submission. Givr aggregates quarterly and files on your behalf as your registered nominee (same model Swiftaid uses).
The Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme lets you claim on cash and contactless donations under £30 without a declaration — up to £8,000/year worth of donations, or roughly £2,000/year in HMRC top-up. Givr Gather submits these automatically.
Yes. Givr is multi-country from day one: UK (HMRC Gift Aid + GASDS), Ireland (Charitable Donation Scheme at 31% reclaim, CHY number, Enduring Certificates), US (501(c)(3) tax receipts, EIN capture), and anywhere else via Stripe multi-currency. UK is where the biggest unclaimed tax opportunity sits, so we lead on it — but nothing about the platform is UK-only.
Free to install. Free to try. Automated Gift Aid unlocks at £25/month whenever you're ready.
